Social Groups
St Margaret’s offers two social groups for both Parish Members and the wider community, the Men’s Group, and LEGs (Ladies Evening Group).
Ladies Evening Group (LEGs)
The Ladies Evening Group meets monthly, on a Monday evening in the Church Hall and extends a welcoming hand to Parish Members and the wider community alike. Each month, our sessions revolve around an activity, ranging from engaging in arts and crafts, playing games, listening to enlightening guest presentations to soothing beach strolls and preparing Christmas gifts for the community. Beyond the activities we participant in, LEGs serves as a platform for fostering genuine friendships while collectively deepening our understanding of the values and principles that define Christian womanhood.
Men’s Group
Our Men’s Group is a haven for fostering meaningful connections, sharing experiences, and nurturing faith and fellowship. We get together on a monthly basis, offering a relaxed and informal atmosphere where members can catch up with old friends and make new ones. For those in need of transportation to our gatherings, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Men’s Group Coordinator. Likewise, if you’re able to lend a helping hand by offering a lift to someone who can’t travel independently, kindly inform the coordinator. We believe in the importance of coming together and supporting one another on our spiritual journeys.
